Reasons to play

Why Try Rugby?

Rugby can help open a world of opportunity for children through learning and play. Apart from getting kids moving, it promotes physical well-being and helps them develop key skills of agility, problem-solving, and coordination. Plus, it teaches kids the values of teamwork, communication, diversity, and leadership, many of the same core values HSBC aims to support in the communities in which it serves.

Fun Fact! Healthy habits start young and make a big difference to our well-being. A recent study provided by HSBC Life showed that 84% of people who played the sport as a child feel physically fit as an adult.

Rugby is also a great family activity for parents to play with their kids – check out the HSBC Try Rugby Programme video series with local celebrity Kay Ho to learn some new activities that are fun for the whole family! Click here to view the videos.
